New Military Holsters?
Does anyone know what the current military holster is for the new Sig P320 M17 and M18?

There was a thread here with the Ceremonial Guard at Arlington carrying their M17; shiny black patent leather. Presumably the regular troops have some type of polymer holster but I have not seen any yet.

Safariland is what they announced when they went to the M17.

I saw a video some time ago about one of the Airborne units getting the M17 and how they liked it over the DA/SA trigger pull of the Beretta
They were on the range and you could clearly see they were drawing from Safariland 6000 series SLS holsters. I could see they were drawing without re-engaging the SLS hood, a definite no no from a training standpoint.
EDIT: Could not find the exact video but did find a article covering the same event. There's a closeup of the holster, some variant of the SLS holster, half way down.

A standard 6000 series holster runs $150-175. This one is modular, the holster can be detached from the leg shroud and mounted on vests, other mounts etc.
Yes, considering the huge volume the cost SHOULD be around $100 each, but hey I'm not the king.

The holster is from Safariland and designated 7TS. There are others that
are enhanced for suppressors and other specialized uses. Safariland created
a new material to make the holsters so they will perform in extreme heat or
cold weather. I don't want my holsters coming from the
low bidder, and I don't want our military to have to take low bid either.

Since I'm unlikely to own a SiG 320 and, being retired, I'm unlikely to have one issued, it really doesn't matter much to me.
I'm carrying this in a CYA IWB holster or a Bianchi Nylon Jacket Slot Duty Holster.
