Can't tell you anything about who made the holster. My black military holster in not quite so good of condition with spare mag and tool under the flap was valued at about $150, two years ago.

The pistol that was in was much more!

From a quick Internet search, 'jkh 42' denotes production by Karl Busse, Ausruestungsgegenstaende, Mainz in 1942.

If original, no idea on a value but someone else here will know.

It's a repro, can't say how much it's worth. I would save my money though.

I have to agree. There are a lot of reproduction WWII German holsters on the market and that one looks like it was made yesterday. The leather looks new, the stitching is lilly white and there’s no sign of verdigris or aging.

Open it up, stick your nose inside and take a whiff. If it smells like a new boot, it wasn’t made 76 years ago.

My guess is that it was made in India and during this century Maybe even this year. A lot of similar items are available on ebay. They can be had for around $30 -$40.

You’ll find photos of what looks to be an original 42 dated JKH P-08 holster here. Notice the difference in the markings, construction and length.

Another vote for it being a reproduction.About a $40.00 item at most shows.
