Holster for 332 Ti
Howdy!
I'm looking for a S&W J-frame model number I can use as a substitute for a SW 332 Ti when searching for holsters. Almost none of the holster producers show that model. It's a 2 " full lug barrel but I don't if the cylinder size might be different than the .38's.
Any model numbers or specific holster recommendations appreciated.

Any holster for a J frame Centennial should fit just fine. The cylinder is the same diameter as a .38/.357. I’d search for a 340/342 holster. In my experience, 6 cylinder flutes vs 5 flutes doesn’t cause a problem with the fit.
A tightly molded holster for a 442/642 may be a bit snug, because of the flutes and the shrouded ejector rod on the 332/340/342. I haven’t experienced that problem. I’ve got an old Kramer pocket holster for a model 36 and it fits my 342 just fine.

What’s your preferred carry method (IWB, OWB, shoulder, ankle, pocket...)?

I believe s&w 642 has been the most popular J Frame, and holsters made
for it should work just fine for you and your 332. Here are a few of my
favorites, Left to Right:
The S&W 642-1
Black Hills shark hide high ride pancake on a shark belt.
Favorite IWB is this Inconspicuous by Garrity.
If you want/need a retention strap, the Bianchi Lightning is a good choice.
My favorite vintage is this little black Chic Gaylord speed scabbard.

Side guard quick clip, zero cant "deep rider". I wear it appendix (12:30-1:00) and literally forget it's there. Very secure, well made, one of the least expensive and most used holsters I have for my 642.

You have lots of options; new/used, IWB/OWB. You might find a serviceable crossdraw at auction for around $30. The old Bianchi Cyclone is a solid holster if you prefer OWB. Galco and Mitch Rosen also have decent holsters that you can generally get in-stock.
If you're willing to spend more, Kramer, Milt Sparks and other high end makers offer great products. Most have a fairly long lead time, but their products do show up on the used market.
I generally pocket carry. A X-draw or shoulder holster does have advantages, especially on long trips. I've got a Ken Null "VAM" that I like. It was designed for easy access when seated and supposedly used by the RCMP and Secret Service. The pull-thru snap secures the gun nicely and it's fast to deploy. You give the gun a slight twist as you're lifting the butt and out it comes!
Here's my VAM. It doesn't ride at the angle shown. Picture rotating it about 40 degrees clockwise.
You might consider placing an ad in our WTB classifieds, once you narrow things down. A lot of us who've been doing this for a while have boxes of holsters that seemed like a good idea at the time, but just didn't work out.

How's that VAM when you're standing and walking? Yes I spend most of my day sitting at a PC or driving somewhere and this would probably be great. I'm just curious how it is when I get out of the car and go into a store or whatever.

It's fine. It's not as concealable as an IWB holster, but it's a lot more comfortable. The orientation between your shoulders and waist doesn't really change when you stand up and it conceals OK when positioned in front of your off hip. It holds the gun close to horizontal, so it would print if you're skinny and wore it on your side. I don't have that problem!
