El Paso "Tanker" for N-frame
I received the "tanker" holster from El Paso Saddlery yesterday. I ordered it Oct 18, so about a month to get it. Not bad at all for custom leather. I didn't want any fancy tool work, but I did get it lined, and I must say I am very pleased with what I got. Stitching is straight and tight, and the snaps and buckle are top quality. My 6" M57 fits perfectly in it, as well as my M28-2. I can even carry my M19-3 and M66-1 in it, although once broken in to the larger guns, they may be a bit loose. I'll use this when hiking in the mountains mostly, but it makes a good carry system when out in the field on the tractor. With a jacket or coat, it's suitable for concealed carry, too, although the chest strap will show if the coat is unbuttoned.

Another "sinister" holster, just like the ones that I need.

I have several of them also, for different guns.
The ultimate woods rig as far as I am concerned. I have been carrying a S&W model 329 in one all over the hiking trails of the blue ridge mountains for about a decade. My wife wears a similar rig with a 4" model 66. Just about the best way to go, hiking or canoeing. All day long with no discomfort. I had them make me a twelve round cartridge carrier that rides just fine on the front strap and my wife has a six round cartridge carrier that rides on the front strap of her rig. I would recommend one to anyone.

I have a tanker holster for one of my N frames. I found it sawed on my neck some without the right cloths. Went to the Diamond D guides choice instead. solved the problem for me. YMMV

El Paso Saddlery has been my go to commercial saddlery for holsters for years. I get some specialty, custom ones somethings, like from folks like Lobo Gun Leather or Dave Workman or Baranti, but EPS ranks right up there. good choice!
