Default Two old holsters reunited?

I picked up a carved lefty holster off eBay for my pre-22 a little while back. There are no markings on it but it’s in the style of the old cavalry holster. Fast forward to a week ago and I’m over at another collector’s house and spot a holster on his bench that looks like the right hand twin to mine. They’re nearly mirror images of each other and his is marked for a 6.5” N Frame. There was a crest stamped into the leather but it’s mostly disappeared.

Any thoughts on this pair?

Very cool pair of old holsters. I think you are correct in the assumption that both holsters were made by the same company. Possibly one of the big “catalog “ makers that were around prior to WWII. Border on the flower carving slightly different, which reinforces the big company several carvers at the bench theory. Wyeth Hardware of St. Joseph, MO is going to be my purely WAG.

You may also want to google Fiske holsters. It looks like some of their work.
