Default O Ball Holster

I happened to come across this O Ball holster.
I did some research on this and know about the holster maker and some of the history around these.
I am going to sell this holster and have several questions for the experts;
Any idea what gun this is for?
Ball park value?
Vintage of this holster?

1940s to 1970s, closer to the former than the latter due to lack of retention strap and the hammer shield.

And it looks like revolver from 3-4" barrel length (could fit multiple models, S&W Model 10, 15, 19, etc. and say Colt Official Police).

It seems Mr. Ball (Officer Ball) made a lot of holsters for police officers in Texas and those models would have been common during the period of his production.

But it's impossible to say without measuring and/or trying different models in it. The "Sloan Style " hammer shield is a giveaway for its revolver usage.

I recently missed a black O.Ball similar holster in an auction and it topped out at $90.

Bet there will be those more knowledgeable than myself along in a bit.

Nice holster imo.

Thank you Mr. 357magger
Forgot I had this revolver, tried it and I believe it is a perfect fit!
The "dark spot" on the inside of flap lines up with and rests on hammer spur of this old girl.

Thank you again

Try a 3" or 4" K Frame and/or N Frame. Looks to be one or the other.
Probably from the early 1960s. I have a carved one for 4" K Frame in
very good condition for $50 on an auction, but that was several years
ago, and I am pretty lucky on auctions. Oliver was a Lt. on the Ft. Worth
PD and homocide detective. He liked to make holsters for academy
graduates and he made holsters for many Texas Lawmen. Not too
famous outside Texas but he was well known as a boxing referee.
