Lawrence Holster Info
Can anyone tell me what a Lawrence holster marked 27LF 45A will fit, and approximately how old it is. Thanks

27 is a model number. LF means laced and flower stamped.
I have to guess at the 45A. My guess would be 45 automatic.
I could be wrong. I often am. Photos would help immensely.
Here, below, is a picture of my Model 27 that fits my S&W Model 19 4"

That is exactly the depth of Holster I want for my MODEL 27 5" and Model 29 4". Did Lawrence make holsters for those N frames?

Markham - That model 27 by the OP is older, before the 3 digit numbering
system that Lawrence used. You be more likely to find the 3 digit size
code than the old one. Your Model 27 5" would fit size 503. The .44 Mag.
4" would fit size 433. They turn up occasionally on the auction sites.

kitgundave - I found a picture of your 27LF 45A, so now I'm sure it was
made for .45 Automatic. Let me know by PM if you are going to buy it.

Markham - If you have difficulty finding a left hand Lawrence model 27
here are a few others that are very similar style.
On the left is a Hunter brand size 12 with my 4" Model29
2nd from left is a Idaho Leather with my 4' model 29
3rd is a Eubanks with my 4" model 10
4th is the Lawrence model 27 again so you can see the similarity
side by side
