I hadn't heard of Azula holsters. I just ordered an IWB for a Colt 1903.

Pretty much the same, just a smaller package in a Galco IWB holster and an HKS speed loader. Over 40 years of carry and use and not a bobble. Retired now, but old habits are hard to break.

No off duty anymore,retired since 2005 after 30 years otj in Illinois but I still carry everyday.Being so warm in Arizona I pocket carry a Desantis holster in cargo shorts with either a 442,model 36 3 inch,detective special or an old cobra.I take along a speed strip either in the strong side cargo pocket or in a belt worn Galco 2x6 carrier and have a gerber skeleton folder clipped to the weak side pocket.

Retired so I carry an Airweight 442 and a speed strip. I don’t have to intervene in anything anymore so I don’t carry heavy.

I switched from a S&W revolver to a Glock because it was issued. But to put six (or 5) accurate rounds on target in a matter of a couple seconds, I will take a double-action revolver with proper grips every time.

You carry a Glock appendix with no holster? I don't mean to side track to an appendix debate, but that just seems a bit on the risky side.

My EDC is a S&W Model 3953 or 4053 in a Don Hume IWB H715-M WCS leather holster along with a Gerber Paraframe folding knife.

I think there is an innate feeling of safety you get with a revolver you just can’t get with an auto. Yes, I know autos are safe as long as you stay away from the trigger but there is something about seeing the rounds in the cylinder and knowing it has to “revolve” before it goes off.

I'm convinced that part of not going looking for trouble anymore is remembering what it looked like and avoiding it. That served me pretty well so far, however with the freeway shootings increasing and moving from after dark to broad daylight, it looks like the only way to be sure is not go to Chicago at all, which is not an option.
