Default Any idea who made it?

Last year I purchased a very clean Smith M32-1 Terrier. With it came a holster that has no markings and Iíve had no luck in finding any info on it. Itís marked for a Detective Special, Chiefs Special or H&R 2.5Ē. The quality is good and itís nicely lined with a very smooth leather.

Any information on this holster would be appreciated.

The construction especially the turned lining is Texas. The H&R fitment makes it before 1970s. Who made it? The likes of Alamo come to mind.

Here is another one similar to yours, also unmarked as to maker. Handwritten 2" Chief.

I agree with Red. I have had a few Alamos and this one looks
suspiciously like an Alamo.

I've got one as well but it was private labeled for the huge gun distributer Greenblatt (Police supply Co.) in NY. Probably made for them by who ever made yours. While it was a very popular and commonly used holster back in the 50's and 60's it is a bit scary to me today! It rely's solely on the snapped safety strap for retention and the exposed trigger is another bygone era concept. While I still like it's looks, I have not used mine in over 25 years.
