Lawrence Score! - Estate Sale with the Mrs….
I took Mrs. Chad with me to an estate sale yesterday. She came home with an old 6 cavity candle mold tagged at $2 and was happy! I asked why she wanted that, and she said it was made by Paul Revere and she was going to make a hanging garden ornament out of it. I love that woman! 
I came home with a full quart bottle of old formula Hoppe’s #9, an unused boxed Lyman/Ideal 280411 mould for a pointed light weight .270 Win bullet, a 500 count tin of .177 match pellets and some Lawrence holsters. I paid a good bit more, but one can never have enough nice old holsters!
The holsters were in great shape when I bought them, but an application of Blackrock Leather N’ Rich really made them pop! I would have snagged them, even if I didn’t have a few 6” S&W Masterpiece revolvers or a 6-1/2” N frame!
It was a very good day!

Really like that candle mold!!! The holsters ... like Tony the Tiger says, "They're Great!" Sincerely. bruce.

If the candle mould was made by Paul Revere give her $4.00 for it and put it away. Anything made by Revere when he was a metal smith is of value today. Hell I'd give her a twenty spot.

She made that up. I paid for it and offered her $20 if I could throw it away. Our house is out of control and the basement only has isles to walk through. My stuff is all treasures; hers is just junk. Did I mention that I love her madly!
