My most vintage firearm; one of my father's handguns dating from his LEO career. He got it from a friend sometime in the
60's and the frame shows a faint engraving: "JCPD". Jersey City (NJ) Police. It is chambered for the .32 police ctg. (.32 S&W long). The handgun dates from the 20's, the Jay Scott grips form somewhat later. The holster is a Federal Man by Bucheimer. Old school.

I love this thread. Thanks for resurrecting it! Here's pair of K-22 OD's in a Colorado Saddlery and a Heiser.

I found an old Colt you will like, but it is nowhere near the quality and beauty of the .32 you have.

Just got it today...
Can't say I know the exact model but I love the look and feel of this pistol. I know it is a 32 and it is old. It says 32 Winchester ctg on the barrel. Can anyone help me on what exactly I have. the serial number is 260xx

These 2 snubbies are in S. D. Myres holsters.
After I bought them the owner told me they had belonged to
his deceased brother in law- he was the agent in charge
of the Dallas FBI office.

3-screw Blackhawk with the unknown holster it came with. Had em both for 38 years.
Can anyone ID the holster? It's lined and floral carved. I used to regularly see holsters that were obviously from the same shop at gun shows, but not since the 80s.

Looks like an Alamo Leather Tom Threepersons holster to me. Are there ANY markings on the back? The holster on the right is another example.

FT is right as usual. That style was made by a number of Texas
makers with Alamo being the most frequently encountered .

Thanks for the ino.
I'm familiar with the style, I have owned several from El Paso Saddlery, who took over Myres original patterns. But I thought a Threepersons was by definition unlined.

The Combat Masterpiece thread caused me to photograph one in a vintage newly arrived Colorado Saddlery half-flap holster.
My favorite K-frame, with custom grips in a dandy old holster.

1852 Navy Colt with ivory grips and period holster. Barrel shortened probably by Colt, factory stamp E & I, indicating engraving & ivory, not engraved but workman uses wrong marking or didn't have one for cut bbl and install sight.

Someone penciled 'Python' on the back of this Myres holster but it fits my 686 like it was made for it.
I was also recently lucky to find a dump pouch to go with this Alfonso's holster, a good match right down to the age-yellowed stitching.

This is the only black holster I own. An early Eubanks holding a Ruger flatgate with pearls. The holster is actually maker-marked for a K-38.

Didn't have the right steel handy for photos, but here's some leather I got the other day. Maker is L. D. Turner of Chattanooga, TN. There's not much info online about this fellow aside from this, but it's a quality holster that fits a 4" K-frame like a glove.

lawandorder, I saw yours and another forum member awhile ago listed here for sale an old police service-style drop down holster made by Turner, and there's the one listed at Vintage Gun Leather, but those are the only examples I've been able to find.
Perhaps Mr. Witty can shed some light on this maker.

A couple vintage pieces with their leather, first a Colt '51 Navy.
And a 1902 Colt Sporting with its shoulder rig.

1st year pre-model 28 with a period correct George Lawrence holster. I've shown this before, but it is one of my favorites.
