But once you get past the smell its a great rig. Just got the Rancher Magnum Carry for a 4" Smith N frame I have a number of these that I carry when hunting. Its great setup and the gun is across your stomach and out of the way but easily pulled. Works over light clothing or heavy coats.

It came in a sealed plastic bag and the smell of leather and die was a bit overwhelming but is now history.

My Kholster kind of had an odor to it too, it cleared up after a couple of days.

Gotta love the smell of new leather.
