Default WTS 1917

I had this 1917 refinished by Ford's. The hammer and trigger were also refinished in color case. Great shooter. There is some pitting on the face of the cylinder and on the gripframe under the grips that would not polish out. Gun will come with the smooth service grips that somebody notched out - for the lanyard I guess, which was not on it when I bought it. Matching numbers on grip, front of cylinder, and under barrel.

550.00 USPS money order plus actual shipping to your FFL - be sure your FFl will accept from an individual. Three day non-firing inspection time. If you are not happy, just pay return shipping for full refund.

Will sell to the first "I'll take it" posted here with a followup email.

I would also consider a trade for a nice early M36.

Thanks for looking

Sorry for the delay, guys. I've been out of pocket since shortly after I posted and I've just got a chance to get caught up. As for the lanyard hole - it has not been welded up. The lanyard pin comes out, but it does look as though part of the stud broke off above the pin. When Ford's refinished it, they evidently didn't take the broken piece out, so it's still there.

As for the logo, I'm not an expert, but I don't think the early models had the logo. I have a 1937 "Brazilian" model that has the small logo, but I haven't seen a logo on the earlier 1917s.
