Default **SPF** 97% 1950 Colt OMT 38spl.... *SPF*: 98% Colt King Cobra 6"

1. *SPF* Collector grade 1950 Colt Officer's Model Target 38spl. in NRA excellent condition. Would grade the original Colt blue finish at 97+% with a little rim of muzzle wear and just a trace of wear at the leading edges of the frame and cylinder. Two superficial tiny marks near the end of the barrel on the right are the only handling marks otherwise; trigger guard, top and bottom of the barrel, and the original Coltwood stocks are in excellent condition ; the stocks fit perfectly with no shrinkage.

This is an interesting transitional gun for the collector beyond it's great condition; the SN is 78088X which dates it to 1950 per Proofhouse.

The roll stamp on the top of the barrel has no patent date, but the left side of the barrel roll stamp is "Officer's Model Target".

The barrel is tapered (appropriate for the OMT, whereas the OMS barrel was not tapered). Sights are appropriate for the OMT; this has to be one of the very last OMT's made and is clearly a transitional gun at the time of switch-over of the Colt factory from the OMT to the OMS. The Blue Book states this switch-over took place in 1949...

Enjoy the pics. Asking WELL under current BB value at (SPF) $650- shipped FFL to FFL or C&R by insured Priority Mail, a cost to me of about $35.

Any questions? Request for more hi-res pics? [email protected]

2. *SPF*:
Here's a VERY nice 98+% Colt King Cobra 357 6" blue in the original Colt cardboard box with the Colt hard plastic case. Bluing is gorgeous, rich, and lustrous with a single small blem on the top of the barrel and a tiny superficial scratch of the bottom front of the trigger guard and is otherwise flawless. Box is in excellent condition as is the blue plastic case.

The pics will tell you all you need to know. Final price drop before off to auction, {SPF} $750 shipped FFL to FFL by insured Priority Mail, a cost to me of about $30-35.

3. **SPF**:
Here's an extremely nice early post-war 5-screw 1948 Pre-Model 17 K-22 Masterpiece, with original grips numbered to the gun.

Overall, finish condition is in the 97-98% range with a thin rim of muzzle wear and a few superficial handling marks. NO idiot marks. Just a trace of wear of the leading edges of the cylinder but not the frame. The top and bottom of the barrel are pristine. Stocks also in excellent condition, with a few superficial marks on the butt of one of the two grip panels. SN is K465XX dating this one to 1948 per SCSW3. No box or docs. Not perfect but a heluva nice high collector grade vintage Smith 22LR target revolver.
***SPF*** $750 plus $25 for insured Priority Mail shipping from my FFL to your FFL or C&R.
