I've decided to sell my 6" Highway Patrolman and look for a 6" Model 27. This gun is conservatively in 95% condition. Lockup and timing are fine and it shoots great. It feels like it's had a good trigger job. S/N N532xxx.

This gun was filthy when I got it and I spent hours cleaning it and working on the few minor rust freckles it had. I've gotten it to the point that you really don't notice these now unless you put it under a high intensity lamp--which is what I did to take the following photos so the blemishes would show up. Except for these spots (on the right side-plate just under the S&W emblem, and inside the ejector shroud) the satin bluing on this gun is immaculate.

Price is $375 with Pachmayr Presentation grips. If you want it with the like-new magna grips pictured, the price is $450. If you're willing to drive within 25 miles of me I'll do a face-to-face sale. Shipping is overnight to your FFL, but make sure your FFL will accept shipment from a non-FFL holder.
