To clarify a question for your listing - the factory letter does confirm this gun shipped in nickel?

Yes it shipped as nickel w/letter confirmation. It has not been refinished, has a trace of loss on the muzzle and a small spot on the cylinder. It has a couple of small freckles on the right side under the cylinder release that are about the size of pin pricks or less. It has a couple of places under the grips which is typical of guns that have seen service use but are hidden by the wood.
I can post a pic of the letter if you wish. I believe it to have been a part of a LEO order to Miami as it shipped as part of 20 identical units to a hardware store in Miami.
So far, as I previously posted, I know of two of these existing. This is one, and another forum member has one. He lettered his and it shipped about two years earlier. So far, and the SWCA database bares it out none of the other 19 are accounted for.

It's probably still a good bit out of my range but you may want to post the picture if you have it. Anything you might be looking for as a trade?

I need the cash, but would consider trade offers. I am primarily interested in "S" prefix 44 magnums, but not limited in that respect. I like 3.5" 27's as well.
If you or anyone else want to discuss this gun feel free to call me at 417 861-2362
