Default FFT or FS - NIB Interarms Virginian Dragoon

I went through my safe and found this Virginian Dragoon I purchased new in 1982. It is NIB and I'm the original owner.

I have a large S&W collection and this just doesn't fit with what my focus has been on.

The Dragoon is a stainless steel 7 1/2" in 44 Mag. It has never been shot since leaving the factory. It still has the "warning" tag on the trigger guard. It appears to be a quality single action handgun made by Interarms in the USA. It hasn't been produced for 30 years and the available articles about the revolver give it glowing reviews.

It has the original box and original paperwork. I'm interest in considering S&W trades with no particular frame size, finish or caliber in mind. If anyone is interested I'll answer all posts here or by PM.

Thanks....

Several people have PMed me asking for the current value of this handgun.. I haven't researched it much but I've recently seen pricing from $275 for well used ones to $550 for ones listed as "98%".

There apparently aren't many truly NIB revolvers of this type around. Many of the old articles I read put it on a level with the Ruger Super Blackhawk. I thought I put this one up for someone who could use it and has something I'd find of interest in return. If not I'll just move it along to one of the gun selling sites...

Thanks....

I was just informed by another member that I need to place a firm selling price in my ad or risk deletion. Sorry about that, guys.

For the sake of not being deleted I'll place a selling price of $500 on the gun, not being aware of what an accurate NIB range would be "common" for this model, but would expect and prefer a trade...

Thanks for the pictures, Macbullet... It isn't often I see an original owner S&W of that vintage with box and paperwork. I'm thinkin....
