Default F/S: Model 12-2 & 64-5

I have two .38 Specials I haven't handled, much less fired in years, so they might as well belong to someone who will use them.

This one is a Model 12-2 Airweight with a 2" pinned barrel that I bought new in 1973, I believe. At most, it had a box of wadcutters through it. The gun is just about flawless with the exception of a spot on the frame to the left of the hammer. The last photo of the gun shows this clearly. This one is $450 shipped to the "lower 48" with a three-day non-firing inspection period.

Thanks for looking.

Ed

Default F/S: Model 64-5

This is a Model 64-5 with a 4" heavy barrel. This gun was the personal sidearm of the armorer and S&W gunsmith for a large police department but has no departmental markings. When I bought it from him, he told me he had worked on the action to achieve a smoother double-action operation and that it was carried a lot but shot very little. The finish shows some holster wear but it is mechanically very sound. My asking price is $350 shipped to the "lower 48" with a three-day non-firing inspection period.

For some reason, my photos of the sides of the gun failed to upload. I will be glad to send them via email to anyone who would like to see them.

Thanks for looking.

Ed

Default F/S: Model 629-5 Classic PowerPort

This is a dash-5 gun, the last update before the introduction of the infamous internal lock and the "Hillary Hole" in the side of the frame. The gun is clean as the proverbial whistle and was shot very, very little. The front sight on the 6.5" barrel is changeable and the gun will come with the sight of your choice - the Patridge you see on it or a red ramp.

In case you're wondering if the Power Port really is effective, I have another 6.5" 629 Classic and I would estimate that muzzle jump is reduced about 40% with the port.

It comes with its original box and all papers and pedigrees for $700 plus $25 shipping to the "lower 48." A three-day non-firing inspection period applies for your peace of mind.

Default 629 still available

The 64 is also sold. Any interest in the 629PP for $675 shipped?
