+++Back up for sale, the previous "buyer" seems to have vanished will not respond to either email or PM. That's a shame, first time I've run into a flaky buyer on the S&W forum. Anyway, this gun is on the market again.++++
I'm selling this for a relative, so other than the condition of the gun, I can't answer any questions about round count, etc, With that said, I have a very nice Stevens 311 20 ga. for sale. The shotgun is an H-Series gun and the SN is E066542, I am guessing this is probably a 1970's vintage gun based on the pressed checkering. It has 28" barrels, I cannot find anything on the gun that indicates how it is choked, but from the research I did, it seems all 28" 311's are choked F/M, I went ahead and mic'ed the bores, the left barrel has .021 of constriction and the right barrel is .018; according to my chart, that makes it actually an Improved Modifed/Light Full choked gun. The gun is in excellent condition, good bores, I would call the metal about 98% and the wood about 95% with nice, strong case colors, the only real flaw in the stock is at the bottom of the pistol grip there is a sport where the finish is missing, it isn't that bad and can be seen in pictures. I do not believe this gun has seen much use and for the past 15 years or so has been stored in a closet
I have several more pics I am happy to email anyone interested; unless you are looking for an as new or NIB gun, you will not be disappointed with this 311. $350 plus shipping to your FFL. Make it $325 shipped.
*******Please PM if interested as I don't check the FS forum that often********
