I hate to do this but I need the money to fund another project. Looking to sell a S&W 66-1, 6" barrel. I haven't owned this one long. Here's what the previous seller told me:
I bought this stainless steel, six-shot, S&W revolver new in mid 1980 and have owned it ever since. The serial number is 58K18**. It was used very little, approximately 120 rounds of .38 Special were fired. It is in excellent condition, with the only visible wear being a couple of minor scuffs on the grips, which are the original checkered wood grips with S&W medallions. It locks up tight, indexes correctly, and has a very smooth trigger. It has a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder chambers. It has a grooved target hammer and trigger.
Since I've had it I put about 10 rounds through it at the range and cleaned it up. That's it. It's sitting in the safe now.
Was asking $550, plus shipping. Price now reduced to $550
including shipping to your FFL.
I don't have any box or papers, what you see is what you get. A great, excellent condition revolver. I also have this up on some of the other forum boards if you happen to run into it.
Feel free to PM me with questions.
If I didn't need the money out of it I wouldn't be selling it and I'll probably regret it later, but that's how it goes. I only mention this to illustrate what a nice revolver this is.
