Hi guys, I am selling my Smith M&P 15-22 rifle. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with it, I simply need to fund the tax stamp on some incoming NFA/Class III goodies.
The gun has been refinished in a desert/tan camouflage pattern. I don't pretend to be an artist, the finish is purely utilitarian for the West TX desert. The finish was intended to give the gun a "used, combat rifle" look. The rifle has only had a couple thousand rounds through it. I understand that a finish like this will only be desireable to a niche buyer, so I have lowered my asking price accordingly. As a side note, NO internal parts have been touched by paint. This includes the barrel, bolt, or any function-critical parts.
This rifle is one of the newer models with the BLUE springs. It's NEVER had work done by the factory, it ran perfect right out of the box. I can count the number of malfunctions on one hand out of a couple thousand rounds. (from bad ammo, really).
The rifle package includes:
-early gen Primary Arms Aimpoint Clone (an excellent optic, especially for this rifle)
-KAC style vertical foregrip
-2 point quick-detach sling in FDE/Tan
-2 Magazines, newest generation (one 25 rd, one 10rd)
-Magpul rubber mag-puller
-3 Rail covers, styled after the KAC type
-LED flashlight
I'm in DFW area, occasionally San Angelo TX, willing to travel an hour or so for the right deal. FTF preferred for now, buyer pays shipping if such a deal is requested.
Asking price is $350 for the whole package. This includes the original box, no idea if I still have the manual or not.
Here are a few pics, I tried to capture some images that show the camouflage paint as it appears in reality.
