Default ALL Sold: Navy Victory, Aussie Victory, French MAS 45 .22 training rifle...

All sold today...

Forum member got the Navy Victory....

All is well, cash in hand for further gun buys....

Well, I need to pony up some bucks for a gun buy, so some treasures have to go. A U.S Navy marked 4" .38 Special Victory Model with holster and S&W letter, an Australian Victory Model with all accessories, and a French MAS 45 .22 military training rifle...

The revolvers will ship from FFL to FFL, the rifle will ship from me to FFL. Your satisfaction is gauranteed, if you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, return it for a refund of your purchase price, however, I cannot refund shipping or FFL fees. Face to Face transaction OK for Virginia residents, I live on the Northern Neck, about 70 miles Northeast of Richmond....

First up is the U.S Navy marked Victory Model. It is a 4" barrel, .38 Special caliber revolver, marked "U.S. Navy" on left top strap. Grips are correct for the revolver, but do not number to it. Serial number V542**, all other numbers on barrel and cylinder match. I have a Smith and Wesson letter for this revolver that shows it shipped to the U.S. Navy, Norfolk, Va. on August 4, 1942. Lanyard ring intact. Mechanically, the revolver is in excellent shape, good bore, tight lockup, shoots good. Small amount of holster wear at the muzzle, a small finish blemish on right side plate.

Holster is an aircrew type shoulder holster, marked on back "L.M.E., MRT NOV 1953". Has rigger added cartridege loops, lower belt snap needs replaced, front of holster marked in ink "PE3 35", some sort of unit marking...

Price is $600 shipped, here's some pics:

U.S. Navy marking:

Next up is an Australian Lend Lease revolver, 5" barrel, .38 S&W caliber, has the "FTR" arsenal re-work markings, import marked. Serial number 9002**, no "V" prefix, all serial numbers on barrel and cylinder match. Grips are correct, but do not match serial number of revolver. Marked on left top strap "United States Property", on right side frame "FTR/MA 54", "L 26" and "D D", several broad arrows. Flaming bomb proof on butt, and "WB" inspectors mark. Almost certainly refinished during arsenal rework. Mechanically 100%, shoots good.

With the revolver is a tan canvas holster, correct Victory model cleaning rod, and tan lanyard. Price is $425 shipped.

Last up is a French MAS 45 .22 military training rifle, made from 1945-1947 in France on captured German Mauser machinery. Earlier ones were marked "Mauser", this one is marked "MAS Mod 45". Has a correct MAS sling. Pictures don't show it, but I do have the front sight hood that goes with the rifle. The rifle is super accurate, I've had fun shooting it. Mechanically, the rifle feeds OK but feels clunky, ejection is weak which I have heard is common with this rifle. Needs a firm pull on the bolt to ensure the fired case clears the rifle. I have used it as a single shot and have been happy with it like that...

Price is $425 shipped....
