Hi folks, getting a start on the new year by thinning the herd some. This week's offering is S220518 which shipped 10/10/1962 making it 50 years old this coming October. It shipped to International Distributors Inc., in Miami, FL. The revolver is about 98% and comes in it's original clamshell case which could use a trip to our own Joe Cebul for reflocking however, it is presentable and all original with the tools. The stocks are about as nice as any I've seen/owned. Factory letter accompanies this gun which back in 1999, sparked quite a controversy over the Model marking. Because it has the L stamp on the cylinder face indicating left hand thread, it should/could have been stamped as a 29-1, but was stamped MOD-29 for unknown reasons. See my commentary on the -1 variation for more detail. A nice example of a Model stamped no dash 29 in the scarce to rare 4 inch, nickel finish. $3750 shipped to your FFL. First I'll take it followed by an email/PM gets it.
Happy New Year
Chuck
