S&W 22A-1 in black and stainless (real stainless not grey paint that S&W now calls stainless) 7" fluted barrel with green fiber optic sight. Product code 107438 that shipped in February of 2007 according to the included fired case. Original case with all paperwork, lock, chamber flag, fired case, and 2 mags.
Overall in very good condition with some very very minor handling marks here and there that I am unable to capture in pictures. Only two things really worth mentioning in my opinion. One is the grips have a gap at the back where an under-engineering (in my opinion) snap broke off that holds the grips together in that location. They could be easily glued together but since I decided to sell the gun I wanted to let the new owner decide what to do. Replacement grips can be found for $20 to $30 if you want to completely replace them (make sure they don't have the same problem that these do). Second is the breech face of the barrel. It has what will appear to be carbon build up but it is in fact paint left over from where S&W painted the entire barrel and then spin polished it to leave black flutes. Obviously a non issue but I wanted people to know what they were seeing.
Gun shoots pretty good as far as I know, but I haven't shot it for groups, just at tin cans, varmints, etc. I've had zero functional issues with either mag, but have not shot that many ammo types. What I did shoot was mainly Remington bulk pack and some CCI HP's of various types.
I think the gun is a sweet looking piece, but I simply prefer my 422's and don't shoot this one enough to warrant keeping it in the stable.
I'm going to price at $300 and I don't see me haggling too much on this one. Its not that common a variant and it basically comes as originally shipped minus some gentle use. Price includes delivery to your FFL.
