OK, let's do this right this time.
I have a Mod 10-5, 2" standard (pinned) barrel, that I would like to sell.
The serial # is : D3786XX....which dates to 1971 - 1972.
Mechanically, the gun is near 100%. Perfect function and lock-up. The gun had been fired very little when I got it....and I've put less than 200 rounds through it. There is almost no turn line on the cylinder.
Cosmetically, the gun is nice, but not perfect. Evidently, it lay neglected for many years. So, it has a few small blemishes in the finish. However, it is in VG shape.....probably about 90 %.
One important detail - I couldn't stand the square butt design (very uncomfortable and poor ergonomics) - so I altered the grip frame. I reshaped the rear of the grip frame to be similar to the round-butt design (similar, but not exactly the same). I did not alter the front of the grip frame, though. So, unless using stocks that cover the back strap, the stocks would have to be altered to fit the frame. As of now, the gun wears a nice set of "custom" grips, made from a set of Goncalo Alves targets "cokes", with the checkering removed.
The price for the gun is $325.00 (firm), plus shipping to your FFL (which should not run more than about $25). So, let's just say $350, including shipping. Shipping in the CONUS only. Payment by USPS money order - with payment expected within 7 days after the deal is done.
PM me with questions, if any. The first "I'll take it" post, plus PM with your details, wins.
Thanks very much. (Photos below.)
