Default WTS - Lower prices - S&W 1917, Colt 1917, RHKP Model 10, Model 1917 holsters

I find myself needing to do some house cleaning as I prepare to make a major purchase. As such, I'm not really interested in trades unless they are weighted in my favor enough to make it worth the extra effort involved to do the trade and then sell the trade goods to free up the money in them. Prices include shipping from my FFL dealer to yours. Multiple purchases won't save me a whole lot versus selling and shipping guns individually due to dealer transfer fees and Priority Mail pricing structure, so if you buy multiple guns, I can't drop the price much. Prices are firm. If they don't sell at the listed price, I may drop them later or I may move the guns to another venue. If you are in NC and we can easily arrange a face to face deal, I'll drop the price to reflect the saved shipping and transfer fees.

First "I'll take it" followed by an EMAIL gets it. Please avoid PMing me if at all possible. Email works far better for me. Thank you very much for looking.

5. REDUCED TO $470 SHIPPED....Model 10-9 marked for the Royal Hong Kong Police. Extremely nice gun. Retains nearly all its blue with a turn line. If you put a really harsh LED on it, there are some parts of the blue that appear to be plum, but they aren't visible in normal light. I'm guessing it has been shot at some point, but it sure doesn't look it except for a bit of fouling in the bore. Would be hard to upgrade this one. $550 shipped.

6. SOLD PF....REDUCED TO $835 SHIPPED... S&W US Model 1917. Fairly nice gun with much original WWI blue and all matching serial numbers (including the stocks). Excellent bore and chambers. Excellent carry up. Very good lock-up with some side play and a bit of end shake, as you would expect from one of these that has been used. Much nicer than you usually see and not exhibiting the parkerized refinish that is so common. You can be proud to have this one in your collection, but still use it guilt-free. $875 shipped to FFL dealer. C&R okay, too.

7. SOLD PF....REDUCED TO $835 SHIPPED... Colt US Model 1917. Not as much finish as the S&W above, but still has a good bit of original WWI blue, especially in protected areas. The balance is honest wear and plum. Still has visible color case on the ejector rod head, as is proper. All matching serial numbers, including the stocks. Excellent bore and chambers. Excellent mechanics, with excellent carry-up and bank-vault lock-up with the trigger pulled and hammer down. Has a SMALL bit of endshake with the spring tension let off the action, but it is not at all excessive. Don't have feeler gauges to check it, but I am pretty confident it is still within spec - that is, it doesn't yet need the hand stretched to take up the slack. Even with the wear, this is a MUCH nicer Colt 1917 than one usually sees, considering it has original WWI finish. $875 shipped to FFL dealer or C&R.

8. US Model 1917 holster. Cavalry configuration, intended to be worn cross-draw on the right hand side for left-handed draw. 1918 dated. Excellent condition with some wear and surface cracking, but still quite supple. $155 shipped.

9. US Model 1917 holster. Worn cross-draw on the left side for right-handed draw. Date/makers mark are no longer visible, but is a nice holster. Supple with scuffs and some surface cracking. Has two holes in the top of the belt loop for use with a wire hanger on a GI belt. Most likely done in WWII. $155 shipped.

1. SOLD PF....Model 625-7 in .45 Colt. Pre-lock. Excellent condition with only a few very minor surface marks in the finish. Original factory rubber stocks. Excellent bore, chambers, and mechanics. Just a bit of light peening on the bolt notches, as expected from a gun that has been shot just a bit. No box or papers. $850 shipped.

2. SOLD PENDING FUNDS.... Model 629-4 3" .44 Magnum. Pre-lock and pre-MIM. Another nice gun with some light, scattered marks in the finish. Excellent bore, chambers, and mechanics. Has some light peening on the bolt notches, but still locks up as tightly as one sees in guns of this era with just a bit of sideplay. I doubt it has been shot all that much, but I bought it used from a shop, so I wasn't able to ask the original owner. No box or papers. $850 shipped.

3. SOLD PF.... Model 657-4. Pre-lock. New in box with papers. Purchased it from the original owner, who is a friend who needed cash at the time. Has light marks from cycling the action, but is otherwise as new. $800 shipped.

4. SOLD PF....Model 66-2 with 2.5" barrel. Has numbered box, papers, and tool kit. Purchased from the same friend as the 657. He was the original owner and shot it a bit, but not much. Looks almost new with just a few marks from him handling it and some residue from when he shot it. $800 shipped.
