SPF to cubguy.

I offer for sale a gorgeous 629-5 Classic DX with 6" full-underlug barrel. I bought this here on the S&W Forum in February. The photos and this description are from the original listing from which I purchased:

"629-5 6 1/2" Classic DX Shipped Jan. '00. The last engineering change before the IL--in excellent condition. Original box (top foam has been replaced), test target (.9 " @ 25yds.)revolver instructions, anti-c paper (torn), and 4 interchangeable front sights--RR, patridge, plain ramp, and gold bead (on gun). Hogue grips only, no tools, no Master lock, no paperwork except instructions and target."

The gun is in the same condition as that pictured (except maybe not quite as clean).

It is my understanding the Classic DX models were hand-selected at the factory for accuracy. I have also seen it suggested (but do not know) that they received a factory action job. This one certainly does have a very nice, smooth double action trigger pull. Timing and lockup are good, and it shoots great.

I bought this gun with the intention of shooting 100% .44 Special loads. I have since picked up a nice 624 for that purpose, and I don't need both.

$685 shipped from my FFL to yours. First "I'll take it" followed by an appropriate email or PM gets it.
