Since it is new and even with take down scratch I am firm on the price since you really can not even get these since they are not in the current catalog. Colt just started making them again in limited batches. thanks

Bomar rear sight or Elliason?

stamped Elliason on the top of the rear site. flat top slide like the old school ones.

it is kind of a hard decision to sell it since it is not an in production model and Colt specifically made a rare batch of these guns. It is a 5870cs..... and in great condition.

Does it have the hollowed out hammer, or a regular one? I can't see it in your bottom photos.

the commander hammer, the skeleton one like is on the customs.

I have it listed on a classified gun auction website as well, and a few offers have been coming in. I will do 975 delivered to an FFL so I do not have to deal with fees from an auction site. thanks

honestly it is not very noticeable and only noticeable when you turn the gun in certain directions. It is not deep and could be buffed out through any good gun shop. I feel it is better to be honest and truthful in me trying to sell it so I just wanted to let the potential new owners to know about it. If I had more time then I would have it fixed under warranty or through Colt's custom shop and ask 1200 dollars for it since it is in new condition. Here is a pic and you can sort of make out the scratch as the fine line running northeast of the trigger. thanks
