I've decided to part with one of a pair for 629 MGs that I own. This is a 629-4, 4" bbl, 44 Magnum, SS, Mountain Gun. The frame is factory drilled and tapped for a scope. The firing pin is hammer mounted. The hammer and trigger are case colored. It has the factory standard Hogue grips with the S&W monogram. The Mountain Gun series is lightened for easier carry in the brush.
The blue box does not have a label on it, but the label with the matching SN is adhered to a plastic envelope. The instruction manual is included. The Serial number is: BSR92xx
This revolver seems to have been fired little and locks up tightly. I have never fired it. There are a few minor handling marks that might indicate it could have been carried some.
Offered for sale at $1,000 shipped to the lower 47. My trade interests are Colt semi's, King Cobra or Anaconda and S&W 44's (especially 1st and 3rd model 44 HE) +/- $
