Testing the waters.
I have a almost "N.I.B." stainless Springfield Trophy Match 1911A1 in .45 ACP. I purchased this pistol about 6 months and took it to the range one time. It has less than 100 rounds through the pipe.
My initial investment in this firearm was $1,345 + tax.
The gun comes with all of the factory items any new Trophy Match would have.
This is a very high end and very good shooting pistol, so there are no problems there. The problem is I have acquired an addiction to older S&W revolvers. You guys warned me when I posted my first Model 15 purchase. Fourteen guns later, I am selling off some of my 1911 stock. Curse you Red Baron!
I do not have any actual photos, and do not know how to post them even if I did. Attached is a link to the Springfield site for information.
Springfield Armory
I would sell the Trophy for $1,200 + shipping or entertain trades for a comparable Model 25-2 in .45 Colt or something equally impressive. Each trade would be based on current market value for item offered for trade.
Thanks for looking. Actual photos of this gun could be provide to serious buyers through email. I do know how to attach photos that way.
Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays (whichever way you prefer).
I have decided to hang on to this pistol. It is no longer for sale.
