SPF..Model 29 no dash. 4-screw. SN S216xxx. Beautiful "Coke" grips. Tight lockup. Correct clamshell style presentation case in great shape. No shipper or papers. Finish is about 97%. There is some muzzle wear. There is a little wear on the cylinder. My major concern is that the gun may have been re-barreled or had the barrel re-blued, as the bluing on the barrel and the frame don't quite match. Additionally the lettering on the better doesn't seem as sharp as it probably should be. The finish on the frame appears to be original. Sold....Here is the highly desirable 27-2 3.5" in blue finish. S311176. Late S-serial number that includes the original non-diamond grips that are numbered to the gun. What appears to be the original box, papers and tools are included, but the end label is missing from the box. I'd conservatively rate the finish at 95-97%. There is a very small area of rust on the right front side of trigger guard as shown. There are some spots on the cylinder where the finish is a little thin that looks like box wear. The lockup is tight, and it doesn't seem to have been fired much.

SOLD...For sale is a Model 36 no dash .38 Special in the square butt configuration. The grips number to the gun. The original box and paperwork are included. There is a small scuff on the right side of the front sight and the finish on the right side of frame next to the side plate looks a little rough but appears to be a factory blemish. Overall, 99% finish. Fired very little. Very nice little J-frame.
