Hello, folks. I am relisting this one since the original buyer and I could not iron out the deal. I have a nice blued model 19-6 with a 4" barrel in northeastern Tennessee. This is a former police gun, so it was carried for three years, but shot little. The former owner took care of it as best he could over this time until he was issued a "Wonder Nine". Mechanically, it is as tight as the day it left the factory with perfect timing. The trigger is nice and smooth in both double and single action. The bore is outstanding, though there seems to be a speck in the picture. I assure you that is a speck on my camera lens, NOT in the bore. The finish is in really great shape for a former duty weapon. There is NOT a lot of high edge wear, but there are some scattered minor scratches that I tried to capture in my pictures. The front sight has some sight paint/fingernail polish (?) painted on. This is easily removed, and I'd be happy to remove it for the buyer prior to shipping. The gun comes with Hogues, and unfortunately the original owner could not find the stock grips. There is no box/paperwork/ect. I hate to let this one go, but I've got other wheel guns to carry off duty now.
The price is $550 shipped to the lower 48, with the first "I'll take it" getting this fine piece. With purchase comes a three day non-shooting/non-disassembly inspection period. If you're not happy, send it back and I will return your money (minus shipping). I will also entertain a trade for a nice blued Colt Detective Special, especially a second issue with exposed ejector rod. Make sure that this is legal to own in your area. Also,
please make sure your FFL will accept from a private individual (I'll provide a copy of my DL). Please ask any questions, and I will try to respond in a timely manner. Thank you for looking!
