I literally bought this two weeks ago because it was the nicest older S&W at the whole show. Its a 1983--first year without pinned barrel. Great shape as the pictures show. Very, very faint cylinder line. Tight lockup, perfect action and trigger.
I was going to carry it and bought a set of target grips and holster here shortly after I bought the gun. Also came with a third set of grips as seen in pics. I haven't as it is just too nice a gun to risk holster wear.
I found something local that I just have to have and can only justify the purchase by sacrificing this recent one. I paid 475 for the gun and have the receipt. I paid 60 for the grips and holster. I'm not looking to make any money and I think what I paid is more than a fair price considering the condition of everything.
So, $535 plus shipping is what I will sell it for. No more, no less. I'll ship to a FFL in every state except New York or California, because I don't want the hassle that I went through before with New York. So make sure your FFL will email me the paperwork to ship it to them along with a copy of my driver's license. This gun is legally in my name, and buyer will be responsible for putting it in their name. Thanks.
