Default SOLD: S&W Model 36 Chief's Special 3" 38 Special

SOLD SOME TIME BACK. MY APOLOGIES FOR NOT CLOSING THE LISTING

Please see this updated listing. I realized that one of the pictures I posted and some of the details are incorrect for the gun I am selling. I was partly going from memory and partly from some photos from my archives that were of a different gun!

Smith & Wesson Model 36 (no dash) Chief's Special revolver. Blued, 3" standard barrel, .38 Special 5-shot. Serial number is J348xxx, so made approx 1975. NO box and some papers (my error in the original listing). Pinned barrel. Excellent mechanically. Perfect bore and cylinders. A very small amount of wear on the front edges of the barrel and maybe a hint on front edge of cylinder. No major dings or blemishes, though there are a few light scratches and swirls in the finish. No cracks or chips in the stocks, but the finish is worn a bit particularly at the tops. REDUCED $450 plus shipping

Please be sure you can take delivery of any gun before buying. Full payment due within 7 days. All Federal, State and Local laws apply. Do not commit to buying if you cannot follow through or legally take possession. Must ship to FFL dealer. I am a private party and NOT a dealer. However for handguns, it is usually cheaper for my dealer to use USPS Priority Mail to your dealer: $35 total. Face-to-face in Washington State POSSIBLE, but you must contact me beforehand to arrange details (a dealer will need to be involved thanks to I-594). Gun is for sale elsewhere so first firm "I'll take it" anywhere is the buyer.

These pics ARE the correct revolver. Will add some additional detailed photos later.

Thank you!

Rob
