Smith & Wesson model 41, frame serial number 909XX, with Herrett grips, and cocked indicator, the 7” barrel has a blued aluminum muzzle brake, inside weight (steel), under frame weight (steel upper / aluminum lower) and S&W sight. This gun was purchased in September of 1969. The “&” in Smith & Wesson is referred to as ‘the lazy &’ (something collectors obsess about but does not alter the performance of the gun). There are four (4) 10 round magazines, an assortment of parts for repair (never had to use them), two screw drivers, the original instruction with a list of parts, and it all comes with the aluminum case shown in the picture. This gun was used as one of the three guns required for NRA Conventional Pistol (900 and 2700 matches). I am not selling ‘bits and pieces’ so do not ask to buy parts of this set. Having searched the web I feel that $1200 is a reasonable price.
