I have a Miroku-made Limited Series Winchester 1886 in .45-90 that my Dad wants me to try to sell for him. The rifle is in excellent condition with box and papers but has been used and hunted with. The metal is in near perfect shape with some marks on the loading gate and the face of the hammer. The wood has some scratches. It has a 26 inch octagonal barrel and full length magazine. He has somewhere around 100 rounds of .45-90 ammo and also some once-fired brass that will go with the rifle, shipped separately of course. I'll try to get a count on the ammo. He's asking $1800 OBO for it all. He decided to let his FFL lapse so make sure your FFL will accept shipment from a non-FFL.
I'll post some pictures as soon as I can. Thanks for looking.
So far, I've found 111 rounds:
*48 300gr. cast lead in Starline brass from Ultramax. This has had the bullet filed slightly shorter as it was apparently made for single shots and was too long for the lifter.
*33 325gr. Hornady FTX in Starline brass. This was loaded by a local licensed gunsmith with 50+ years in the business.
*20 300gr. Hornady hollowpoints (I think XTP) in Jameson brass. From a gunshow.
*10 300gr. Hornady XTP in starline brass. Also by gunsmith.
