Default SPF! S&W Model 17-3 K22 Masterpiece, 6" barrel, with box and docs, November 1969

Sold pending funds to Leatherhead23

I'm making room and building up my gun fund for the next "must have" so it's time to let this one go to a new home and caretaker.

This gun is in what I'd call excellent shooter condition and has very little wear on it.
The bluing is absolutely beautiful and according to Roy, this 6" barreled 17-3 K22 Masterpiece, serial number K852022 shipped in November, 1969.

The serial numbers match on the magnas, and the case coloring on the trigger and hammer is very nice and bright.

I'm not the original owner so I don't know the total round count. In the six or seven years that I've owned it, I'd guess that I put about 300 to 400 rounds through it. I've never holstered it, and I doubt the previous owner did either.

There are no hammer peen marks on the face of the cylinder and the gun times and indexes perfectly. No hammer "push off" and the barrel and cylinder charge holes are clean and have a mirror like finish.

The original box is numbered to the gun and in equally as nice condition. All eight corners are solid, and there aren't any tears in the box, owners manual, warranty card (not written on), and NRA post card.

There's really not much more to say about this one so I'll let the pictures tell the story. The pictures were taken outside on an overcast day.

I'm asking $875.00 shipped UPS 2nd day air to your FFL in the Continental US.

I'll accept only a Postal money order for payment.

Please make sure your FFL will accept a gun from a private individual. I'll be sure to include a copy of my drivers license for their books.
If I have to ship it from my FFL, I'll need to pass along whatever those charges may be.

Usual forum rules apply - first I'll take it followed by a PM within 2 hours of that post gets it!

I can email additional pictures if needed.
