SPF 1919 (June or July) .38 Special M&P square butt 6" barrel blued
- Has circa 1919 grips- they are not the originals though, but since the originals had pencil marks, now clearly worn off, anything that is the same year is considered original.
- Has some muzzle tip holster wear
- No box or documents
- All numbers match on the gun's metal parts- barrel (underside flat part), cylinder, and bottom of grip.
- No S&W or Made in USA stampings on the frame
- 6" barrel- the longest they made that year (1919)
Was told the story is this was issued to a guard at the Atlanta Federal Reserve from 1950-1975, when he retired.
Found another accessory that fits my collection better, so this C&R needs to go to make room.
Please post I will take it on this forum. This is advertised elsewhere as well.
$400 shipped to anywhere in US48 it is legal- check your own state's laws. I don't know anything about shipping to a C&R license holder, so be patient on the details.
SOLD on another site.
