Hello and thanks for looking. I have a Winchester Mod. 12 I am told is from 1941. The numbers match. It is Proof steel. I am told it is considered to be a high good/ very good example.
The pictures will show more than words can describe ,wood is solid nice and rich, there are two spots however one is a check in the wood ,no biggie ,the other seems to have been patched on the bottom.the steel still has that smooth feel to it when you glide your hand over it. It's not as blue as when it was new, but neither are my eyes. This is a nice piece I am pricing it fair to move it, funds needed for a Browning. I will be happy to ship this to you at actual cost. Please make sure your FFL will accept it from a individual. Postal Money order preferred.and per the forum rules I must state that I can not accept returns. I can't believe for a second there would be any reason. Ah! I forgot the bore is clean and shinny. Than you veterans, LEOs ,FireFighters, God bless you and keep you safe. At this time I am in NY and that will be the shipping point. $600. usd.
