Both ***SOLD***For Sale: Early Combat Magnum ***One Sold*** One Left Price Lowered
For Sale: Two early Combat Magnums in the K260XXX serial number range.
1. ****SOLD****The first is in the Blue Combat Magnum super rare presentation case with tools. The cased gun K260352, is about 93-94% with holster wear on the sharp edges; barrel, ejector rod shroud mostly. Not a safe queen, but one that shows honest wear. Being married to a LEO has changed my perspective on what these guns we all love to find and hoard were really meant for. This is a special package considering the rarity of the gun and box set. The stocks while almost mint, are not numbered. All this said the package is priced accordingly. One in better condition but with a lesser condition box and no tools just sold for well over $5000. I am asking $2850 for this complete one with letter. I will pay for shipping to your FFL/C&R. First "I'll take it" followed with and email/pm gets it. No returns because I don't want to deal with going back and forth to PO. I just had rotator cuff surgery so not quite as mobile as I used to be Take a good look at the pics and PM me with any questions before committing to buy. Personal check for S&WCA members ok or if I know you or you've been a forum member for a couple of years or more. If none of these apply then MO or Bank Check preferred. Send me a PM with any questions. I'll leave it on the forum until it appears no one is interested then you'll see it on one of the gun auction sites. I always like to give our forum members first shot before going that route.
2. ***SOLD***The second Combat Magnum is K260091. It was purchased several years ago from a Butterfield auction. At the time, it was a poorly polished and re-blued gun with a yellow FS insert. I sent it to Fords for a complete restoration and it's pretty spectacular now and in all it's former glory. But, it is a re-do so I'm asking $950.00, OBO, shipped for what would normally be a 2K+ piece just because of its early manufacture. It comes with a RR WO STT and TH. This can be someone's dream carry/shooter without the worry of turning the cylinder on a safe queen. Again, first "I'll take it" followed by an email/PM gets this great example of an early production CM. Payment and return terms listed above. Ship to FFL/C&R only.
Thanks all
Chuck

Reason: Sold
OK folks, last chance at a really nice/scarce early Combat Magnum. I'm now asking less than what I have in it so it is a bargain by any standard. Top notch restoration so get a shooting example of a first month production Combat magnum for a great price. Will remove this weekend and send it to one of the gun auction sites if no takers on the forum. Chuck
