Model 16-2, serial number K5248xx S&W 32 Long, in box, though not original to the gun.
The gun is in nice shape with target hammer and trigger, has magnas stocks that are not original to the gun and really don't fit very well, checkering has some wear. The blueing is nice with some slight muzzle wear on both sides of the barrel and some small spots under the barrel, probably 96-97%.
The action is extremely smooth in DA and crisp in single action, it wouldn't surprise me if there had been a trigger job done on it at some time, there are also some very fine marks by one of the side plate screws that tell me the plate probably had been removed at some point.
