Withdrawn.
Off to auction.
I have decided to give fellow forum members first crack at this unique revolver with prefix BJD.
According to Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson:
Background: I purchased this beauty in April 2011 from the grandson of the original INS agent that ordered it.
He was Retired Deputy District Director, Buffalo (NY) District.
Comes with all paperwork showing he ordered it after he retired, and that he paid a bit over $500 in 1992.
I have put together these collages to show a lot of info in a smaller space. Large individual pics are available to those with serious interest via email.

The only flaw I could find is on the left grip, there is about a half-inch scrape visible in above pic - 2nd down on right. Bluing and 24k gold lettering is fantastic, and I was told it was not shot after leaving factory, and I have not shot it either. Selling as LNIB as I cannot guarantee this. Speaking of the box... the oak case has one very small scrape on the outside, and that is the only flaw I found.
Inside flocking is near perfect.

If this fine 25 year old revolver does not sell within a few days, it will be withdrawn, and placed on GB. I hope to find someone here with a possible tie to this defunct agency (now part of Homeland Security) that would love to have one and did not get one of the original 183 that were produced. No other items except what is described/pictured is included in sale.
Price: $1125 plus shipping to U.S. 48 states.
Gun will ship in fleece-lined gun rug.
Payment with USPS money order.
