This is a very early S&W Model 41 with the 7" barrel and the muzzle break. The serial number is 111xx. I believe this puts its manufacture date right around the 2nd year of production sometime in 1958. It is in great condition. Best guess 97-98%. It has been fired very little. I believe it was drilled and tapped somewhere along its way. There are two small allen screws in the top of the slide. I do not think I got a picture of the top of the slide but I will do that and post it. Of course this is a cocking indicator pistol. The box is as mint as you can get and the wax paper is not S&W but it looks like it came with the pistol. Maybe a 41 expert can shed some light on the wax paper. No paperwork with the pistol and only one mag included. Any collector would be happy to have this low serial number pistol in their collection. The price is $1395. Bank Cashier's check or Postal money order for payment. Priority shipping and insurance will be $45.
Also, I have the complete S&W boxed early weight set that came with this pistol for sale in the accessories section. Check it out.
I am not an FFL but I will ship this pistol through a local FFL to your local FFL. Of course, I will need a signed FFL with your payment.
