Default *SPF* S&W 686-5, 7-shot, cut for moon clips

Both sold pending funds.

Edit 4/13/17: 625-8 V-Comp is sold pending funds, 686-5 7-shot still available.
Edit 4/12/17: Added a 625-8 PC V-Comp and dropped the price on the 686-5 to $600.

1. I have a S&W 686-5, 7-shot, cut for moon clips, .357 mag for sale. It has an SDM fiber optic front sight installed. I'm not the original owner and I don't know who cut the cylinder for moon clips. Moon clips go in and out smoothly and in general the gun shoots great. The trigger is nice, lockup is tight, and timing is good. The total round count is unknown, I've put about 100 rounds through it.

The gun does not appear to have been shot a lot but it has been handled a lot, there are lots of handling marks and a few scratches. The most noticeable are 2 scratches on the cylinder and a few on the left side behind the cylinder, these are shown in the 2nd and 3rd from the last photos. It also appears that someone used too wide of a screwdriver on the front screw of the rear sight and scraped the finish on the rear sight, see the 4th from the last photo.

It comes with 28 very lightly used moon clips and 4 packages of new moon clips, 8 to a package, for a total of 60 moon clips. I can also include some red replacement fiber optic if the buyer is interested. It will ship in a blue S&W plastic box which has no label but it's of the type that was original to the gun.

I am not looking for any trades at this time.

First I'll take it posted gets it, please follow up by sending me an email

Price is $600 for a face-to-face deal in Austin, TX or add $35 for shipped and insured CONUS, FFL to FFL. I'm willing to drive an hour or so from Austin to meet for a face-to-face deal.

Payment by: 1) PayPal Friends & Family; or 2) add fees for PayPal Goods & Services.

Please contact me by email or PM if you have any questions or would like additional photos

Thanks for looking,
Rick

2. ***SPF*** I have a S&W 625-8 Performance Center V-Comp, .45acp for sale. The gun is completely stock, no modifications have been made.

This 625-8 V-Comp is in great shape, a few scuffs but that's about it. The gun shoots great, the trigger is nice, lockup is tight, and timing is good. I'm not the original owner so the total round count is unknown, I've shot it some, probably around 200 rounds.

The gun comes with the original Performance Center aluminum box, paperwork, barrel cap with wrench that can replace the comp. It also comes with 2 full moon clips that I think are original to the gun, 20 Ranch Products moon clips, and 2 sets of S&W branded Hogue grips, open back and closed back. Note in the photos that the aluminum box has a few dents.

I am not looking for any trades at this time.
