For sale is a Winchester model 1886 chambered in 45–70 caliber with round barrel, half magazine, Crescent butt. This rifle was shipped as a .33WCF but was re-bored to the more common and popular 45–70 at some point. It has been well taken care of judging by the overall condition. The rifle barrel and magazine have very good bluing and the receiver has bluing in the protected areas, under the lever. The wood is very nice, no cracks, proud fit to metal, only small handling marks. This is not a lightweight barrel, it letters as round barrel rifle and crescent butt which is somewhat rare for a late gun. See the serial number search letter, pretty rare for a Winchester to letter to an individual and list the shipping location. This should make for a very nice hunting 1886 and shooter.
