For the serious K frame collector.
In 1987 the Peruvian government place an order, with Smith and Wesson, for 3,000 model 19’s with a Fixed rear sight. Smith and Wesson designated these the model 19 – P.
After receiving the first shipment of 1,500 revolvers the Peruvian government canceled the rest of the order. Smith and Wesson released 1,237 of the reaming revolvers to its’ German distributor Wischo GMBH Co. Smith and Wesson sold the remaining 481 revolvers to its American distributors. For a total production run of 3,218 units. The above information is from Mr. Roy Jinks. I assume that this one was shipped to Germany, as it has import marks stamped on the bottom of the barrel near the muzzle.
It had been shot, and I’ve put about 100 rounds through it. So, I’ll rate it about 95% condition.
As I only have “snapshot” quality photos, I’m offering a five (5) day non-shooting, non- disassembly return privilege. Buyer to pay all return shipping costs.
Pricing as follows:

$2,100.00 FTF, in Durham NC.
When taking the photos, I noticed several SMALL stain spots on the top strap above the cylinder, and small amounts of rust on the right side of hammer, and the backstrap near the hammer.
The new photos show these spots.
So, a price reduction is in order.
