I need to move this one in order to finance another purchase.
This 1916 vintage New Service is in the original.455 Eley. The archive letter ($100 value!) shows shipment in January of that year to the London Armoury Company as 1 of 900!!
So, it served in the. British Army prior to our entry into WWI.
It is in shootable condition. The bore and chambers are actually in good condition.
Fell free to PM with questions. The 1st posted "I'll take it!" followed by a PM gets it for $359 shipped to your FFL. C&R OK.
The bonus?? The winner gets an Iver Johnson .32 double action top break thrown in the deal. It is a parts gun that might make an interesting project.
Best,
Charles
