I took my Ambien too early last night and went on a spending spree on Gunbroker, buying two nickel 9mm model 59s, so I have to sell a safe queen to finance the spree. Up for your consideration is the venerable Recon 45. These guns are a variation of the 4513, and were made by the Performance Center at the request of wholesaler RSR. They are DA/SA guns, with a decocker only on the slide, obviously made for carry/combat. The point of the decocker only is that the gun is "always on." Apparently there was a problem with the 4513 safety being flicked on accidentally during the racking movement. It comes with a ported 4.235 " barrel. The Performance Center made the Recon 45 between 98-99 and a total of 603 were made, with 1/2 of those being in all black. The serial numbers span REC001-REC603. This one is 126/603. I know I'm preaching to the choir with this group, but in case there is a novice reading this ad, the Performance Center in the 90s knew how to make guns. They hand fit, finished, and lapped these pistols, and then fit them with spherical titanium Briley bushings, etc. They just run forever and never hiccup no matter what you throw at them. The saying "they just don't make em like this anymore" applies. This particular gun was sold to me as unfired. I cannot confirm that fact, but it certainly looks unfired. Because I didn't buy it new, I will list it as used. The condition of the gun is ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS. This gun doesn't have a ding, dent, or scratch on it anywhere. The PC box is (correctly serialized to the gun) and all original paperwork are flawless. It comes with both original magazines. For the discerning collector, it would be virtually impossible to improve upon this example. They don't come around like this very often, so don't let this one slip by. I will ship it anywhere in the USA for $1850 to the first person who says, "I'll take it."

another price reduction--$1750 shipped. I'll drop it $50 per week until someone snags it.
