Once again,3rd time,I am offering this gun up for sale. I have had two buyers back out of a deal on this gun. The first was an SWCA member,the other was not. What ever happened to being a man of your word? Please,if you say you will take a gun that is up for sale do the right thing and follow through. I must add this bit of a story too. A few weeks ago I saw a super nice Wilson combat Compact that I thought I really needed. It was $2700.00. I posted "I'll take it" Later that night I decided I really did not need the gun and wished I had not bought it. Did I back out on a deal? Heck no! It is now my new carry gun. Enough with the rant............

Selling my nice Smith Md-629-6 Alaska Backpacker III in .44 Mag. with a 3 inch non ported barrel. It is one of 300 produced. It has been carried some and shows some wear on both sides of the barrel as you can see in the pictures. It comes in the original box with the papers. The product code is 103689. Since I now have a bad taste in my mouth with this gun I am asking $900 shipped to your FFL and NO I will not sell it to either of the firsts two guys that said they wanted the gun.
