S&W Model 10-8 Heavy Barrel

I believe this 10-8 started out as a security officer sidearm.
It has had the hammer bobbed but still has the single action sear in working order so it can be cocked. I believe all the springs and other parts are original.
It has been reblued with a low luster black finish that has several imperfections.
One of the ejector pins in the cylinder has been replaced but there are two present.
The cylinder release nut slot is slightly marred but the sideplate screws look pretty good.
It is in working order, smooth trigger, b/c gap is good
ejector rod is straight, timing is good, lock up is acceptable but not perfect, refinish has a few dings and scratches underneath but there is no pitting or rust. Refinish shows wear at the muzzle, on the hammer, trigger, ejector, cylinder, etc.
Trigger and hammer don't have case coloring they are refinished in blue.
If you're looking for a pristine or heirloom model 10, this isn't it.
If you're looking for a decent shooter or truck gun look no further.
Comes with Hogue Monogrip grips that have been shaved down at the bottom to reduce the size slightly.
I think it's at least in as good a condition as the recent model 10 trade ins so I think it's worth
